The RT 3000 Measurement System is a modular remote measurement and alignment device. Utilizing advanced Position Sensing Detector (PSD) sensor technology the RT 3000 allows one unit to perform multiple advanced measurement tasks, depending on configuration. Capable of delivering laser based bore alignment, linear displacement, contact proximity measurement or gravity based tilt information, the RT 3000 is a truly multipurpose device. The RT 3000 uses visible, eye-safe laser light carried over fiber-optic cable to maximize flexibility. A central compact control unit serves not only as the processor for controlling the laser and the detector, but as the uplink point to either the host computer, or up to 36 other RT 3000's as part of a remote host controlled system.
