The Research Technologies RT 2000 is an advanced remote measurement and alignment device. Utilizing advanced optical sensor technology; the RT 2000 generates a 360 plane of light, and measures its reflection off of completely passive targets. This consolidated approach eliminates the need for wiring or batteries, resulting in a dramatically simplified installation and calibration process. Using visible, eye-safe laser light to establish the distance, angle and height of mounted retro-reflective targets, the RT 2000 is Research Technologies newest tool for aligning large structures on multiple axes with great precision The RT 2000 laser uses the Optomux protocol for communication so that a PC running RT engineered software, or your own custom application, can receive information and control the laser head via RS-485 digital data line at up to 19,000 baud. This tool is a dependable, accurate, powerful, and intuitive way to measure precisely.
